The Padres and DBacks play G2 of their weekend series when B. Pfaadt faces M. Waldron on the mound. Waldron is on hell of a run as he's given up more than 2 ER in a start only once over his last 10 games. One of those starts was versus the DBacks which was a 13-1 win. The same cannot be said of Pfaadt as he's given up 3 ER or more in 5 of his last 7 starts and the Padres have hit him well in two starts this season scoring 10 runs on him is 11 IP. I like the Padres on the runline and over the total here.

The Mets and Pirates continue their series today as it will a game between lefties in D. Peterson and B. Falter. Both have been pitching well this season with an ERA under 4.00, Falter has been very good pitching at PNC park this season where his ERA is 3.38. Peterson has been very good since being added to the Mets rotation at the end of May, in 6 starts he's allowed only more than 2 ER once. The Mets offense has been really struggling during their current 3 game losing streak and the Pirates offense can be neutralized, I like the under here.
