In this column, I’ll go through the BEST BET I’m seeing in the league today; this can be in a spread, a moneyline, an Over/Under, or a player prop.

OVERALL RECORD: 94-91-4, -2.89u
RECAP: We are on a roll now, winning two straight MLB of the Day and cashing in for a gain of 1.50 units on the day yesterday. We hit our Padres run line pick fairly easily, and the daily Team Props Parlay has been an absolute hit in the Sharp App Discord channel - it’s cashed in four out of the five days we’ve done it, almost always at plus-money. We’re going to ride this momentum today and continue to (hopefully) turn value into profit.

You know, we’re used to teams kicking the crap out of teams. And while I don’t believe that is going to happen tonight, we’re going to try to capitalize on a pitcher that hasn’t even pitched in AAA, let along the MLB.

The Seattle Mariners got a huge lift off of Big Dumper last night as they beat the White Sox in walk-off fashion off of the bat of Cal Raleigh, and tonight, they’re sending Bryan Woo to the mound to hold off the abysmal White Sox offense, which has its work cut out for it. Tonight, Sharp AI gives the Mariners a 70% chance at a win tonight.

Woo, the young pitcher who once came from AA himself, is on a streak of twelve straight scoreless innings, and has only allowed 3 earned runs over his last 24 innings. That’s among the best in the league, and it’s because of his dominant xBA at .188 and his even better xERA, which is literally the best in the league at 1.80. He’s becoming one of the most dominating pitchers, and his park helps him, too, as not many hard-hit balls are hit in Seattle.

But Drew Thorpe, the AA phenom of the Chicago White Sox, is pitching for Chicago tonight. In this house, we fade starters in their first MLB start, and while he’s been pretty darn good for the Sox in AA, he has had one pretty big weakness, and it’s his first-inning woes. In the first inning, he’s allowed six earned runs over eleven starts, and then been pretty darn good after it. While we don’t have a lot on this guy, we know that he has strikeout stuff and he showed it. But, that was two levels below the big leagues, and Thorpe shouldn’t stand a chance against this big-league lineup.

The Mariners aren’t exactly the most potent offense in the league, but they’re averaging almost six runs per game against righties over their past ten games, and overall are getting on base 33% of the time. The same cannot be said for the Sox, who are getting on base below 30%, but have seen an increase in offensive numbers since Luis Robert got back in the lineup.

Overall, Woo should be able to shut this lineup completely out, and he’s the star today, not Drew Thorpe of AA fame. The Mariners should be able to handle this team easily tonight.

PICK: Seattle Mariners -1.5
