Anthony P's MLB Model September 23, 2022

As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will be adding new sports and models to the app. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB and NFL models as often as possible.

To read the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

MLB BETTING MODEL FOR SEPT 23, 2022

The model wasn't wrong on the sides yesterday. I didn't believe in St Louis and Tampa Bay but they both won. As for the White Sox, it was a close game and both pitchers pitched a decent game. Today the model finds value in the Braves and the over + the Padres and the under in Colorado.

The first thing we want to check is the weather in Colorado. It's much better than the last 2 days but the find is still blowing in. I'm not worried about Feltner, I'm worried about Manaea! Padres haven't won in their last 4 games with Manaea on the mount and got outscored 39-12. He's been terrible on the road and he's allowed 16 ERs in his last 3 games.

As for the Braves and the over, I don't agree. This is a playoff type of game where I expect Nola and the Phillies to win again and the score stays low.

Good luck
