In this column, I’ll go through the BEST BET I’m seeing in the league today; this can be in a spread, a moneyline, an Over/Under, or a player prop.

OVERALL RECORD: 4-0, +4u
RECAP:
Well, that’s certainly a start. We hit every single play yesterday, including our NBA of the Day, which featured the Under in the biggest game of the day yesterday. I also gave our FREE Discord Users my three favorite plays from our Proptimizer, and those hit, too - all-in-all, with boosts and when the odds evened out, we made exactly four units. Doubled our profit completely, and it’s a good foundation for the rest of the season.

PICK: Cleveland Cavaliers ML
Each offseason, there’s a lot of talk about “which teams are going to take that next step forward?”, and this matchup proves to be two of those teams that could really disrupt the Eastern Conference if things go their way; and tonight’s the opening night for those dreams to happen.

The Cavaliers made noise last season with leading scorer Donovan Mitchell making his presence known throughout the league, including a seventy-point game by the Spida. The best part about this Cavs team, though, is that nearly everyone is returning - there’s very few players that have left or came onto the scene, the most notable addition being playoff hero Max Strus, who should provide some opportunities to great depth in this backcourt.

Last season was dysfunctional for the Brooklyn Nets, as they began last season with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving… and now, they have Mikal Bridges and Spencer Dinwiddie, two players who have really come into their own. That being said, there are still things to be desired on defense when you get past the name Nic Claxton, who might be one of the only players in the league strong enough or tall enough to stop Victor Wembanyama.

Our Sharp App AI gives Cleveland a 54% chance of winning, aligning with the current trends of Cleveland -1 or -1.5. If we follow the Sharp Report, as of Wednesday morning, we’re seeing a significant liability in Brooklyn, even as the number has slowly shifted in Brooklyn’s favor.

I see some significant value in the line, and Donovan Mitchell leads this offense that is slow, efficient, and they’ve got two monsters down low in Mobley and Allen. They went 2-1 against this Brooklyn team last year, and they have one of the best defenses in the league. Defense wins early games in the year, so let’s ride with Cleveland, even as the away team tonight.
