RECAP: On Monday night we had our second HUGE night of the NBA season, gaining nearly four units of profit and hitting nearly every single play. The Mavericks got stomped in the first half, but then turned it on in the second; this was what I was talking about in my article. This is an experienced team that, when their stars play, they really make an impact and can lead this team far. We also hit on the Lakers, the under in the Thunder game, and a parlay with the 76ers. Let’s keep the momentum going!

PICK: Washington Wizards +3
This is a line I expect to move, especially here in the early morning, because there’s a considerable amount of money on one way, and in this case, it isn’t the team that’s favored. 

The Wizards head to Charlotte in a battle of bottom-feeders that I’m sure every single screen in the world will be tuned-in to (sarcasm), but it’s a position of value, according to our Sharp App tools. Our Sharp App AI sees this as a two-point game instead of a three point game, so according to the AI, we’re already getting value. Then, if we turn to my favorite Sharp App tool, the Money Handles tool, the story brightens even more.

As of this morning, only 39% of the bets placed in this game are on the side of the Wizards, so we are automatically going against the public. I LOVE going against the public. THEN, to make things even better, nearly ninety percent of the money handle is on Washington at +3 - this means that there’s nearly a 50% difference in the amount of bets against the amount of money on the team. That’s early money that’s trending sharp, people. 

Plus, the line opened at many books at Charlotte -4, and has already shifted down to accommodate the money coming in. And while the Wizards have yet to win away from home (heck, they’ve only won one game this season), this is their absolute best time to steal a game against a weak opponent. They have a really effective offense led by Jordan Poole, and this Charlotte defense STINKS. So does the Washington defense, as both of these defenses are all-time bad. 

But Charlotte’s offense hasn’t been effective in the slightest to begin the season. The Wizards rank higher in nearly every offensive category. 

The Wizards are not a sexy pick, I know; but, they are the right pick, with the better scoring ability. And trust me, this game is going to be high-scoring. Take the Wiz, with the points.
