Anthony P's NBA Model January 15, 2023

As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will add new sports and models. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB, NFL, and NHL models as often as possible.
Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NBA BETTING MODEL FOR JAN 15, 2023

It was a bad spot for the Pacers yesterday which was the only value play available on the model. Memphis took care of business.

The Bulls looked dominant winning 3 straight by high ATS margins just to go lose their 3 next games and took a beating at home by OKC on their last game. The Warriors lost 3 straight at home and it was an embarrassing stretch by losing with an ATS marking of 9.5, 20.5, and 24.5. They finally got their shit together and destroyed the Spurs in their last game. Tonight they face the Bulls on the road and we all know how bad they are on opposing courts.

The books opened the Warriors as a 4 pt favorite and the line moved to -4.5 overnight. We don't have sharp money on this game and DeRozen should be out again which explains the line. Also, it looks like the Bulls offense took a vacation last 3 games scoring under 100 pts in 2 of those games and shooting 45% without Derozan. Golden State is coming to Chicago with better momentum and has dominated the Bulls in their last 10 games.

Lastly, it comes down to the following: The Bulls played bad D vs OKC and allowed 124 and I don't believe they hit the bottom of this losing streak. They also can't seem to score and shot badly without ReRozen out. GS is bad on the road and this team is due for some positive regression. This is also a great spot for them to continue winning on the road and get close to a .500 record.

I wouldn't touch the Bulls today!
