Russian D. Medvedev will face American T. Paul in one of the semifinal matches tonight at Indian Wells. Being in California, we know the crowd will be supporting Paul and cheering against Medvedev. However, I actually like that for Medvedev as he loves playing the role of the villain and actually feeds off of it, as we have seen for so many years at the US Open, taunting fans and asking them to boo him even more. Paul had the much easier draw avoiding N. Djokovic in round 4 as he was upset by the young Italian L. Nardi which set the way for Paul to reach the semis. I was really impressed with Medvedev over his last two matches as he beat #13 G. Dimitrov and #7 H. Rune with ease in straight sets. I don't see Paul causing many issues for Medvedev tonight and like the Russian in straight sets here.
