Val's ATP Acapulco Open Play Round 2
Val
We look to rebound after tonight with a play at the Acapulco Open
Record 19-23 (-4.90 units)
Daniel Altmaier +162 (Risk 1 for 1.62 units) Expected start time 9:30pm EST Feb 28th.
German D. Altmaier faces Serbian M. Kecmanovic in the 2nd round of the Acapulco Open tonight. Both won their first round matches in 3 sets, however, once result was a lot more impressive. Altmaier defeated fellow German and the #1 seed of the tournament in A. Zverev, while Kecmanovic struggled to defeat Argentine D. Schwartzman. Schwartzman has a 1-6 W/L record on the season and is struggling mightily and the fact that he pushed Kecmanovic to a 3rd set shows that Kecmanovic's game is far from where it needs to be to go deep in a tournament. Altmaier has played better tennis to this point of the season with quality wins versus Zverev and Auger Aliassime whereas Kecmanovic only has one quality win on the season versus T. Paul but several bad losses to the likes of R. Hijikata, P. Kypson and L. Klein. I like Altmaier to carry momentum from his win versus Zverev into this match and win another match as a big dog.
