We have two Argentinians facing off in the round of 16 of the Cordoba Open today, when F. Debonis faces F. Cerundolo. At age 32 Delbonis is more of a journeyman player on the singles tour, he's ranked 131 overall and plays most of his matches on the doubles side. As with most Spanish speaking players, they play their best tennis on clay and that definitely applies to these two. Fortunately for both this tournament is played on clay. Today will be the first time Delbonis plays any player ranked in the top 50 on tour this season, before today his highest ranked matchup was versus another countrymen F. Coria #67 which he lost. I expect Cerundolo to take this match with relative ease.
