As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will be adding new sports and models to the app. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR OCT 13, 2022

The model got the best of me last night when I faded the value on Boston and went with the Capitals. The model best plays went 3-1 yesterday and could have been a perfect night if Seattle didn't mess things up.

The model likes 4 games tonight and I'm having a hard time agreeing with any of them except the Wild.

The Devils, on paper, are much better than the Flyers and what is pushing the value on the Flyers is the fact that there is a lot of money coming in on the Devils. I like the Devils tonight.

The Senators are expected to with about 6 to 7 more games this year with the new additions they made during the offseason. Their top 6 can compete with anyone's best and they have a solid mix and young and experienced players. The Sabers will be better this year but they will have major issues in nets with Anderson leading the way. I would say my model is soft in projecting the Sens and their rating should go up within the first 5 games. I like the Sens tonight.

This brings us to one of the top games day, the Rangers and Wild. The Rangers have already played a game and looked great versus Tampa. This will be the Wilds' opener and it will be without Fiala who was their second-best scorer last year. The Rangers are also playing tomorrow and will need to travel to Winnipeg overnight therefore if you are looking to fade the Rangers, tomorrow might be a better spot. Nonetheless, the Wild have dominated the Rangers in their last 8 however it might be different this year. Minnesota only lost 8 home games last year I believe the streak continues for the Wild and they take this one.

Lastly and probably the only game ill make sure not to miss is Colorado at Calgary! It's a back-to-back game for the Avs and I don't like betting on those spots. Also, we have a new and we can say improved Flames team with probably 2 of the best shutdown lines (Kadri's and Backlund's) and I'd like to see them play a couple of games before updating my team ratings. I'll pass on this game and just enjoy it.
