The Oilers and Panthers play G2 of the Stanly Cup Finals tonight, the Panthers took G1 with relative ease 3-0. The Oilers took plenty of shots (32) but S. Bobrovsky was in top form as he’s been for most of the playoffs and got the shutout. As expected the Panthers were the more physical team outhitting the Oilers 57 to 32 and were solid on the penalty kill, killing off all three penalties they received. The Panthers are a team built for the playoffs and we saw that last season as they reached the Cup Finals before losing to the Golden Knights and they’re back here again this season, they will hold serve on home ice here again in regulation.

Houston Astros -110 & Houston Astros/SF Giants O8 -110

The Astros visit the Giants for a three game series in San Francisco, tonight’s starters will be S. Arrighetti versus lefty M. Harrison. After a very rough start to the 2024 season, Arrighetti has pitched well of late, allowing only 4 ER over his last 3 starts with the Astros winning two of them. The Astros have also provided Arrighetti with plenty of run support as they’ve scored 4 runs + in 6 of his last 7 starts. For the Giants, Harrison continues to struggle as given up 3+ ER in five straight starts with the over hitting in four of them. Arrighetti is pitching better then Harrison at the moment and that will result in an Astros win and the over hitting here tonight.
