Anthony P's NHL Model November 11, 2022

As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will add new sports and models. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.
Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR NOV 11, 2022

The Dallas Stars laid an egg last game in Winnipeg but tonight they face a Sharks team that hasn't won in their last 7 meetings in Dallas and they've helped the Blues break a 7 game-losing streak. The home team is 23-8 in the last 31 meetings and I expect this trend to continue. The Sharks are 31st in offense and 22nd on defense. Their PP is terrible but they have the second-best PK which will be tested tonight with Dallas's 4th best PP. We can argue about the Stars being a top 5 team being top 4 in defense and top 10 in offense. Go Stars!

Seattle is slowly moving up in the power ranking with their 8-4-2 record however they've been much better on the road than at home. They just won 5 straight and in 3 of those games, they were sizable underdogs of +171, +145, and +195. It's a revenge spot for the Wild that was beaten by the Kraken on home ice 8 days ago. The value on this game is on the under 6.5 but unfortunately, the total dropped to 6 however the model is still showing some value (but less attractive). In their last 5 games, both teams are leading the league in xGA/60. The Wild has limited the opposition to 2.20 GA in their last 10 games and has allowed 3 GA in their last 4 games. Seattle has allowed 2.5 GA/G in their last 10 and 1.60 GA/G in their last 5. Smells like an under to me!
