Anthony P's NHL Model December 5, 2022

As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will add new sports and models. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR DEC 5, 2022

We have 2 spots tonight and I don't like them. I wrote about the Rangers and Blues in the Overnight Grind and I am not ready to -170 on the Rangers. We have the Coyotes that like to bust balls and win big games when they shouldn't but tonight is not a good spot for them.

I added the AI projections to the NHL model also and it has some crazy predictions that I will for sure follow or may even consider for DFS purposes. The AI is finding value in the Golden Knights, Flyers, Capitals, and Canadiens.

Our predictive model has 2 massive upsets for tonight. The capitals are on the road as favorites with a win probability of 62% in Edmonton and the Flyers have an expected win probability of 54% at home versus the Champs.
