As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will add new sports and models. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR DEC 29, 2022

My model likes 3 decent favorites and that is rare.

The Sabres are playing the Redwings that should be tired after that awesome comeback in Pittsburgh last night. It's still not clear who will be in nets for the Redwings tonight. Husson got pulled yesterday after allowing 4 goals on 12 shots. Detroit's backups are not good folks. Also, the Sabres have the 2nd best powerplay this year and can make some damage versus Detroit's 10th-worst PK.

The Jets are also undervalued based on my model and the books are giving us a fishy line that might be a trap game for those betting on the Jets. The Canucks are 7-21 last 28 playing the Jets and 4-11 last 15 when playing in Winnipeg however tonight they face a Jets team that lost 3 straight while the injuries keep on pilling up. The Canucks seem to put aside the drama around the team and Horvat put up back-to-back games with 4 points and the Canucks have now won 3 straight. If the Canucks stay away from the penalty bench I believe they have a good chance to win this game based on how the Jets have been playing. The model is heavy on the Jets because this Vancouver team has the worst defensive metrics this season sitting before last in terms of GA/G and last in penalty killing. The Jets have been a solid team at home this season.
