WNBA BETTING MODEL FOR JULY 9, 2023

We had a terrific run on Friday, making bank both on my leans and the model play. Sat out yesterday, but gear up, because today we've got a full house.

Looks like there's a glitch in the matrix over in the Windy City. The sportsbook's raw projection had the Dream sitting pretty at -1, but they went rogue and opened the line at +1.5, banking on public sentiment and some home team favoritism. My margin model begs to differ, arguing this line should be a lot closer to a toss-up.

Let's get this straight, the Chicago Sky might be playing under their own cloud cover, but don't be fooled by the home court advantage. The Atlanta Dream pretty much took the Sky to school this past Friday in their own backyard and now they're rocking a perfect 2-0 Straight Up against them this season. The Dream's offensive prowess is quite a spectacle, and with a streak of 4 straight wins in their back pocket, they seem to be silently creeping up the right trajectory.
