Overnight Grind : Market Makers VS Sharps NFL WEEK 13

Market Makers are sportsbooks that are first to post a line and set the market. They will control risk by setting their bet limits lower when posting a spread or moneyline before
everyone else. Once the market adjusted, they max their bet limits.

This is our first article looking into the overnight moves in the NFL. The NFL market is one of the most liquid sport betting markets in the world along with Soccer in Europe. The market adjusts very early in the week.

Dallas:

This line opened at -4.5 and -5 at two different market makers. From what a read, we had a couple of books posting a -3.5 on Dallas, that line didn't last for long. Anyway, we have 2 sets of sharps on this game. This line was pushed all the way to -6 and then plunged down to -4.5

Tampa Bay:

5 dimes opened the Bucs a -9.5 favourite and the sharp did not again and found immediate value. Sharps took a position at -9.5 and -10. The line is now at -12.5 but the majority of the books have it at -11. Max bet limits are still under 6k therefore the books are still waiting to see where the rest of the action will come from.

Indianapolis

They deserved better faith vs the Bucs. Many keep on ranking the Colts higher and higher week over week. They will be on the road this week vs Houston and market makers made them favourite by a touchdown. Once again, sharps found some value on yet another favourite and slammed the -7 and -7.5 forcing the market to adjust the line to -9.5 at Betonline and -10 at 5Dimes.

San Francisco:

Alright, so the Niners seem to be back on track with some stellar D in their last 3 games allowing on average only 15 pts per game. Seattle, with no running game and Wilson not looking like the Wilson we know are putting up under 15 pts per game in the last 3. When I saw a total of 46 for this game I fell off my chair but the sharps have no interest in the total. Betonline opened this game a pickem back on Nov 23rd and steady interest was on the Niners during the week however at the end of last night's game vs Vikings the bulk of bets came in on the Niners and pushed them a -3 favourite.
