RECAP: It was a clean sheet for sharps last night. The Oilers took a 3-1 lead with a 5-3 win, the Mavs save face and elimination, Milwaukee wins 4-1 in San Diego and the Phillies over 7.5 hits in the 9th inning.

The Avs will be closing their series on Wednesday and will send the Blue packing with at least having won 1 game. The Blues did look good in the first 2 games but the Avs adjusted really quickly and it was hard for the Blues to maintain the game tempo the Avs were imposing. Both teams shot under 40% but Miami was terrible at 33%. Boston is the top aDRTG team in the league and we will be seeing the lowest total of the series at 203.
