The over trend continues in the NHL and the sharp hit the over in the Rangers game with ease. They were also on the Grizzlies and OMG was that game a disaster for GS!!! What a huge Thursday it will be in the NHL. Carolina, Toronto, St Louis and the Kings can all advance to round 2 with a win. I believe Carolina and the Kings will close their series while Tampa and Minnesota will force a game 7. The sharps are only on one game for now and it's the Kings. My model has this game at a pickem. Market makers opened the Oilers at a -150 favourite overnight and even though 64% of the handle is on the Oilers, heavy sharp more dropped the line to -135. The Oilers did everything they can to come back and force OT in game 5 but the Kings high tempo pressure paid off again with an early goal in OT. The Kings will want to close this series at home and I believe they will.

As per the NBA sharp report, the sharps are on the under in Dallas for game 6. My model is still on the over but I will agree with the sharps here. Dallas shot an all-time low 38% from the field in this series. The depth of the Suns is starting to be felt and Dallas had no answer in the second half of game 5. Also, Luka can't do everything all the time, his supporting cast has overperformed and we are seeing some regression now. Look for the Suns to use the same defensive approach that caused 12 turnovers in the 3Q in game 5 and pull away with the win on Thursday. The Yankees are currently a best model play recommendation on the sharp report with close to +11% EV however the sharps are on Chicago. Gil is the concern here and we are not too sure what we will get from him. Cease has a xERA of under 2 but facing the best team in MLB. It's sharp vs model on this one.
