Overnight Grind : Market Makers VS Sharps June 16, 2022

While most of us are sleeping, Market Makers and Sharps are adjusting the markets so that by the time we wake up and are ready to bet, the markets have adjusted in favour of the sportsbook. Let's take a quick look at some games where the sportsbooks had to make some adjustments based on heavy sharp interest.

Market Makers are sportsbooks that are the first to post a line and set the market. They will control risk by lowering their bet limits when posting a spread or Moneyline before everyone else. Once the market adjusted, they max their bet limits. Talbot has been hot and won his last 8 starts but don't discount Jarry he's been solid this year.

RECAP: only one game from the sharps yesterday and they took the L on the Reds. We had a great hockey game yesterday but there was no sharp interest and also none yet for game 2.

Game 6 tonight in Boston and the sharps are on Golden State at +4. Our AI model has the game at +2 there there is a little value at +4. It's impressive what GS did last game considering that Curry went 0-9 from the 3 and scored 16 pts. Wiggins carried the team in game 5, Thompson and Green stepped it up also. What to expect from Curry in game 6? Another 40+ pts like he did last game in Boston? Will they be able to contain the Celtics to less than 100 pts again? If the Warriors play like last game and get Curry to his usual, the Celtics are done tonight. I read a great piece on Wiggins and how he had to adjust his defensive play when he joined the Warriors. Wasn't an easy task for him but he's been lights out and he is a major piece of the Warrior's success in this series. I agree with the sharps tonight and I also lean on the under 210.

In baseball, the sharps have been very quiet today. Based on the sharp report's latest update, there is only one game they took interest in. The Rangers opened at -135 and sharps pushed it to -154. Close to 70% of the handle is on the Rangers and there is no value on at the current price. The Tigers offense has been pretty much nonexistent scoring 6 runs in their last 4 games and 5 of those runs came from a 9-5 loss to the CHW. They were blanked twice and scored 1 run in the other 3 games. Today they have to face a Perez who's been fantastic this season except in his last game. Brieske hasn't been terrible but he's 1-5 and barely gets any run support from the Tigers. I agree with the sharps in this case also.

Good luck today
