Overnight Grind : Market Makers VS Sharps January 12 2022

The Pens dominated yesterday and it was a sweat-free game for the sharps. The Leaf's love drama. Stone ended up suiting up for the game but that didn't change anything. The sharp kept on coming in on the Leafs all the way to puck drop. The line closed at -149at a couple of sharp books while at Sugarhouse the Leafs closed at -127. Beal is out for the Wizards who can come out flat after playing B2B games. This season they are 2-3 on B2B and 2-2-1 ATS. Interesting trend, the over is 5-0 on B2B games this season which an average score of 225.1 pts. 5dimes opened the Wizards a -9 favourite late last night and sharp slammed the +9, +7.5 and +6.5. The book is also seeing some money on the moneyline for the Magic. Without Beal my model has the Wizard a -7 fav. I successfully wagered on the Magic this year and they came through every time. I support the sharp interest however most of the value is gone.

HOUSTON / SAN ANTONIO OVER

We are seeing some wild moves in the NBA lately. This is one of them. Market maker Betonline opened this total at 226 this morning and within 20 minutes and on low max limits to the total was pushed to 232. Still, on low limits, the over is holding 78% of the handle. The Spur's home games have been going over at an 80% clip this season. They don't play good D and are poor at rebounding. The Rockets, prior to scoring 91 pts on Monday, averaged close to 115 points per game which is the average the Spurs should give up tonight. Houston's defense is even worst and allows 124 points per game in their last 10. Last 3 games the Rockets have lost them with an ATS margin of 14 points. My NBA still needs a final update since both sides have players that are questionable/probable. Right now my projection for the total is 222 points.
