Overnight Grind : Market Makers VS Sharps December 10

While most of us are sleeping, Market Makers and Sharps are adjusting the markets so that by the time we wake up and are ready to bet, the markets have adjusted in favour of the sportsbook. Let's take a quick look at some games where the sportsbooks had to make some adjustments based on heavy sharp interest.
Market Makers are sportsbooks that are first to post a line and set the market. They will control risk by setting their bet limits lower when posting a spread or moneyline beforeeveryone else. Once the market adjusted, they max their bet limits.
Marc Endre Fleury is the 3rd goalie in NHL history to hit 500 wins and he did it in his hometown. Sharps and my model were aligned. Sharps were also right about the Preds and TNF was a thriller.... well the second half only.
New Jersey Devils
The Preds are on a road B2B and will start Rittich tonight. Market makers opened the Preds a -130 favourite and by this market sharp pounded the Devils to -120 favourites. Sharp hit the +115, +105 and -105. Back to Back's in the NHL are tough and road b2b is even harder. NSH is 2-2 on b2b's. I expect more movement on this game since the max limit is still low. Nashville hasn't lost in Jersey in their last 10 games and tonight they will face one of the worst PK's in the league. My NHL model has the Preds a -115. Do they have enough juice to squeeze in another win?
Vegas Golden Knights
This is the kind of game that if you like parlays you can start with Vegas. The Flyers are a total mess being 0-8-2 in their L10 while Vegas seems to be back on track with 3 straight wins. This game currently holds the highest max bet limit at 14k so the book is ready for business. Betonline opened the Vegas a -190 fav yesterday morning. Overnight, when the line reached -240, max limits were increased. The Book did adjust the line and by this morning Vegas is at -230. VGK and FLA will be big liabilities for the books today. My model has Vegas at -245 therefore I agree with the Sharps.
Atlanta Hawks
This will be a great game if the Nets stars show up. Both teams are 7-3 in their last 10 and playing some solid basketball however ATL is regressing a little losing 3 of their last 5. Atlanta is 1-6 straight with in their last 7 playing the Nets at home. Durant should be well rested in this game while the Hawks are banged up. So what the heck are the sharps seeing? My NBA model has the Hawks at -2 so I have to agree with the sharps
