You will build a fight-duration model first, then add strike rate on top of it. That order explains why a per-minute rate times the full scheduled time overstates the total whenever a finish is possible. You will also split takedown attempts from completed takedowns, and see how round totals and method of victory fit in. Fatigue, damage and grappling change a fighter's pace as the minutes pass.
