What is time-decay on a contract?
A binary contract has to end at 100¢ or 0¢, so if you think it’s mispriced, the gap to fair value should close as resolution nears. Theta is that daily drift — the mispricing spread over the days left. It’s a straight-line model, but it frames how much movement per day you’re counting on and whether there’s time for it.
