Pittsburgh Pirates -1.5 +148

The Reds face the Pirates tonight; both clubs have combined to lose 190 games this season and will probably surpass 200 by seasons end. It will be C. Anderson on the mound versus R. Contreras, outside of a couple of bad performances both have pitched very well. For Anderson it was one bad start versus the Cards and for Contreras it was bad starts versus the Yanks and Brewers. This is a game between 2 bad teams and the Pirates can easily win this game by two runs like they could lose it outright, but at big plus money I will back the Pirates on the run line.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 +174

The Jays host the Yanks in a series that the Jays need more than the Yanks. The Yanks haven’t mathematically clinched the AL East but that it is just a formality at this point. The Jays are close to clinching a Wild Card spot and beating the Yanks will help solidify that. Outside of A. Judge, I can see A. Boone giving regulars some days off between now and the end of the season to keep them fresh for the post season, so that might as extra advantage for the Jays tonight as well. Yanks starter L. Severino has not been as sharp this season as in the past and he’s not looked good in 2 of his 3 starts versus the Jays this season. I like the Jays behind K. Gausman to win this by multiple runs.

Dallas Cowboys -105

The Cowboys (1-1) visit the NY Giants (2-0) tonight for a MNF matchup. I think it is safe to say that the Giants are a weak undefeated team as their victories are versus the Titans and Panthers. Tonight will be their toughest test to date and I’m not sure D. Jones will be ready to perform at a level needed to propel the Giants to victory. Dallas QC C. Rush proved last week that he can win games in the NFL win a victory over the Bengals and the Boys also get a boost to the OL as future Hall of Famer J. Peters will be making his season tonight. This game could go either way and think the Boys have more talent and will back them to get a road victory.
