The Padres visit the Mariners for a mini 2 game series. The Mariners are flying high after taking 2 of 3 versus probably the hottest team in baseball in the Braves over the weekend. Now they face the Padres who’s pitching staff hasn’t been good over the last couple of weeks. It will be Y. Darvish versus L. Gilbert; both have pitched very well this season, however, Darvish has struggled on the road where his ERA is above 4.00 and the Padres are 7-7 in his 14 road starts. Considering the Padres have issues winning on the road with Darvish, I will back the Mariners on the run line at a really nice price.

Chicago White Sox -1.5 +112

The White Sox host the Rockies for 2 games. Tonight the Rockies send C. Kuhl to the mound to face M. Kopech; to say that Kuhl have been struggling of late is quite the understatement. His ERA in his last 7 starts is 10.01 and that has just added to his road ERA that wasn’t good before this 7 game stretch. His road ERA on the season is 6.29 with the Rockies losing 70% of his road starts. Besides Sunday’s hiccup to the A’s the White Sox have been playing really well and expect them to roll here versus the Rockies.

Philadelphia Phillies +114

The Phillies are in Miami to face the Marlins tonight. The Phillies come into this game having just swept the Nationals and winning 5 of their last 6. It will be B. Falter versus S. Alcantara on the mound; Alcantara has been lights out at home this season where his ERA is 1.61, however the Marlins offense is so bad right now that 2-3 runs might be enough for the Phillies to win tonight. This will be Alcantara’s 6th start versus the Phillies and the Marlins have lost 3 of the 5 and the Phillies have hit him hard in the last 2. I will back the Phillies in a winnable game as a dog.
