The Reds are in NY this weekend to face the Mets, it will be H. Greene on the mound facing D. Peterson. After a rough patch, Greene has responded well over his last 2 start recording 2 wins while pitching 11 2/3 IP allowing only 2 ER. This could not have come at a better time for the Reds as they battle for a Wild Card spot. Petersen continues to struggle for the Mets and it shows in the numbers, the Mets have lost 12 of his 18 starts this season. I don't see Peterson pitching well today versus the Reds. I like Greene to dominate and the Reds to win this game.

Minnesota Twins -1.5 -107

The Twins look to take G2 of this series with the White Sox, it will be B. Ober versus J. Scholtens on the mound. The results speak for themselves when Scholtens is on the mound for the White Sox and that is they usually lose. The Sox have lost 9 of 10 Scholtens' starts and are usually not competitive in those starts. That is usually the case when your ERA is close to 5.50, 6 of those 9 losses have been by multiple runs. Ober has been good overall on the season and is facing a Sox team that has underperformed all season and has lost 7 of their last 10. I like the Twins by multiple runs tonight.

Boston Red Sox/Toronto Blue Jays O8 -111

The Blue Jays are coming off being swept by the Rangers, the Jays could not have picked a worse time to not hit and pitch well. They were beaten in every aspect by the Rangers. Now they face the Red Sox whom are having their own issues having lost 7 of their last 10. It will be B. Bello versus J. Berrios on the mound, Berrios hasn't been great over his last 7 starts with an ERA of 4.65, Bello has been better at 3.67 but outside of games with the Yanks the Red Sox have played high scoring games with all other clubs of late. The Jays pen has been real wonky of late and if Berrios doesn't go deep tonight this game should go over the total.
