The Red Sox and Rays play G2 of their three game series tonight when C. Criswell faces Z. Littell on the mound. The Red Sox won the opener last night by a score of 5-0, and look to built on the win tonight. Criswell has been solid (2.67 ERA) for the Sox this season with the team winning 5 of his 6 starts, one thing Criswell cannot complain about is the run support he gets as the Red Sox are averaging 6 runs per game in his starts this season. Littell for the Rays started off the season very strong allowing only 2 ER over his first three starts but has regressed quite a bit with his ERA jumping to 4.50 over his next 6 starts, however, the Rays have still been able to win 3 of those game as they scored plenty of runs for him. With Criswell pitching better than Littell and both sides scoring plenty of runs for their starters, I like the Sox and the over here tonight.

Minnesota Twins/Washington Nationals O8.5 +105

The Twins look to end their 7 game losing streak tonight when then play G2 of their series versus the Nats, the Nats won the opener with ease 12-3 last night pummeling the Twins ace P. Lopez. The Twins send J. Ryan to the mound to face the gas can that is P. Corbin. Corbin continues to struggle in 2024 as he has over the last 3-4 years with a 5.59 ERA and 1.74 WHIP. If not for the big contract the Nats are on the hook for, I’m sure Corbin would have been waived a long time ago, but the Nats seem content with trotting him out there very 5th day to toss batting practice for their opponent. The Twins should break out in a big way tonight and the Nats should be able to get 3-4 runs, I like the over here.
