Ole Miss Rebels +162

Two 10-2 teams square off in the Peach Bowl this afternoon when the Ole Miss Rebels and the Penn State Nittany Lions meet up. Neither side has had any significant player opt out or enter the transfer portal, however, the Lions will be without D Coordinator M. Diaz whom took the head coaching job at Duke. The Lions defense was on of the best in the country, but it did feast on some weak offenses in the Big Ten. Today they face a really good offense in the Rebels and I'm sure HC L. Kiffin will have some surprise play for the Lions. This is a very winnable game for the Rebels and I will back them here as a dog.

Florida Panthers -1.5 -101

The Panthers host the Habs tonight in a game that will be a B2B for them after a exciting 4-3 over the Rangers last night. I'm a little worried about backing the Panthers after an emotional win over a quality opponent and then facing a much weaker team in the Habs tonight, however, statistically the signs all point to backing the Panthers. The Panthers have won 3 straight versus good teams in the Knights, Bolts and Rangers, are 11-5 on home ice, will have the better goalie in goal in A. Solarz compared to J. Allen and have won 9 of the last 10 meetings between both clubs. Of those 9 wins, 8 have been by multiple goals, so as long as the Panthers don't play down to the level of competition, they should win this game with ease.

Detroit Lions +5.5 -105

The Lions are in Dallas tonight in a prime time game versus the Cowboys. HC D. Campbell looks to lead his Lions team on the road in a important game, they currently sit at the #3 seed in the NFC, however, have the same record as the #1 49ers and #2 Eagles, so the next two weeks are critical as if either one of those teams slip up the Lions could be take the #1 spot. The Boys have lost 2 straight and don't look as dominating as they've been, and yes they're 10-5 on the season, however, 7 of those wins are versus teams with a losing record. Two of the other 3 wins versus the Rams and Seahawks weren't teams with a winning record at the moment of those victories, so the Cowboys have feasted on teams with a losing record. The Lions are the furthest thing from a weak team. I like them to keep this game close and even possibly win it straight up.
