We were 1 out away from hitting our parlay last night, but H. Strickland goes and gives up a 2 run HR with the Angels up 2 in the 9th.

Philadelphia Phillies/Seattle Mariners U8 even

The Mariners host the Phillies for a weekend series, it will be rookie T. Phillips on the mound versus B. Woo. Phillips has been great for the Phils since being added to the rotation, in 4 starts he's 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA. He shouldn't have issues navigating this Mariners lineup that is missing J. Rod and JP Crawford and possibly J. Polanco who is nursing a knee injury. Woo for the Mariners is has been great at home this season with a 1.27 ERA and will be facing a Phillies lineup that isn't getting any production from Harper, Bohm and Turner of late, all 3 are hitting well below .200 since the start of the 2nd half of the season. I expect a low scoring game here tonight. 

NY Mets -1.5 +117 & NY Mets/LA Angels O9 -105

The Mets visit the Angels for a weekend series and begin a stretch of games that are very winnable to help their wild card chances as they face the Rockies after the Angels. It will be the newly acquired P. Blackburn versus T. Anderson on the mound, Blackburn knows the Angels well from his tenure with the A's, he pitched versus the Angels 5 days ago and it didn't go well as he gave up 4 ER in 5 IP, however, he now pitches for a way better offensive team in the Mets. Anderson for the Angels is struggling at home this season where his home ERA is 3.88 double that of his road ERA with the Angels losing 7 of his 12 home starts. I expect the Mets to get to Anderson like so many teams have this season and win this game by multiple runs with it going over the total.
