Shapovalov came from a set down to win his first round match versus M. Kecmanovic and I think can use that as springboard in this match versus Fritz. Fritz has clearly dominated since the start of 2023 but Shapovalov has always been a thorn in his side, they've played each other on 7 occasions since 2018 all on hard court and Shapovalov has won 5 of the matches. This is a match in my opinion that can go either way and will go the safer route and back Shapovalov +1.5 sets.
