NBA Bet of the Day | HUGE Slate Today!

In this column, I’ll go through the BEST BET I’m seeing in the league today; this can be in a spread, a moneyline, an Over/Under, or a player prop.

RECAP: We went 2-1 in our plays over the past two days, but have dropped two straight NBA of the Days in light of our huge winning streak. We pounced on the Brooklyn Nets live at +102 on Wednesday, and we cashed it in overtime. The Wizards are playing better, man! Our Detroit over pick was never in the cards, and so I don’t even want to talk about it. We also hit the Pelicans last night. Huge slate today, let’s see if we can find some winners!

The Suns are finally turning it on in the NBA, and it’s just in time for the playoffs, which will be here before we know it. They’re facing a dominant OKC Thunder team tonight with their eyes on the championship, and they’ve been REALLY good at home this season. We’re going to bank on the powers that be tonight, and the Money Handles tool, to take us over those trends.

By now, you all know that I heed everything to the Money Handles tool, but today, we’ve got a play that also goes with the Sharp Report. We have three or more sharps on the Suns tonight, making it a BLUE play on the Report. Our Money Handles tool is also really high on the Suns tonight, and so we’re taking them at -1 on the day. Our Sharp App Money Handles tool is showing that 19% of the betting handle is on the Suns, but a whopping 92% of the money handle is on this side - that’s good for a 73% difference, probably the most I’ve ever seen on a play this season in the NBA. There surely haven’t been more prominent ones than that. 

And it comes on the back of our top scorers for the Thunder. They simply haven’t been themselves over their last five games, and are averaging 16th in FG percentage, 20th in assists, and 8th in scoring – which is a huge downgrade from their league-wide 2nd-place in scoring throughout the season. Over their last five for the Suns, they’ve been elite defensively, and are rebounding at a rate that’s close to the top of the league. 

And I very rarely look at referees, but the Suns have been very successful with these three on the floor, namely Scott Foster – and when all eyes are on this game, Foster may take over, leading me to believe that the Suns will be able to take over in this game, even on the road. 

The Suns rank first in FG percentage over their last five, and are playing really effective basketball. Durant, Book, and Beal are all churning at a very high level, and we’re going to back these three’s explosive offense in a game that definitely will have the whole world watching. Suns by a point.
