Anthony P's NBA Model December 9, 2022

As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will add new sports and models. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB, NFL, and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NBA BETTING MODEL FOR DEC 9, 2022

My model would have been the best decision to tail last night instead of fading that awful streak and betting on the Rockets. It was a perfect spot to buy low on a Spurs team in a coin flip matchup. Oh well, we need to move on.

The AI did like the Clippers, Spurs, and Blazers, it went 2-1. The model and AI were aligned on the Spurs and this is something we might want to keep an eye on.

Both the model and AI like the Pels tonight. My model has the Pels at -3.5 and the AI at -7. The line is currently at +1.5 and it was as high as +2.5 early this morning. The Suns are 2 games under .500 on the road and just lost back-to-back games and got destroyed by Boston at home. The Pels are on fire winning 5 straight and only have 2 losses in their last 10. New Orleans is 1st in defending 3-pointers (32.7) and this can be the difference maker versus the Suns 4th best 3 shooting team. The Sun's regression started against the Rockets losing at home however they beat the Spurs, which the Rockets couldn't beat, but then took a beating in Dallas and back at home against Boston. It's not time to buy low on the Suns.

The AI also feels that the 76ers will smash the Lakers by 9.5 pts. It's also finding value in the Pistons at +10.5 since the AI thinks that the Grizzlies should by max a 3 pt favorite.

The AI is finding value in the Clippers, Spurs, and Portland tonight.
