The Blues are in Philly to face the Flyers tonight, the Blues snapped a 3 game losing streak last time out beating the Wild 3-1 on Saturday, however, haven’t been playing well overall losing 6 of their last 9 games. The Flyers for their part have been alternating wins and losses over their last 4 games. S. Ersson is confirmed in goal and I expect him to bounce back from a terrible start versus the Caps on Friday when he gave up 5 goals in a 5-2 loss. Ersson has been solid for the Flyers this season and is one of the big reasons why they’re in the playoff picture now when many considered them to be a lottery team at the start of the season. The Flyers will have the edge on home ice and I like them to beat the Blues tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs -.5 +125 (regulation)

The Leafs host the Bruins tonight in Toronto. We have 2 teams playing different levels of hockey right now, the Leafs are playing their best hockey of the season while the Bruins are in their roughest patch. The Leafs have won 9 of their last 10 games while the Bruins have only won 3 of their last 10. Granted several of the Bruins’ losses have been in OT or shootout, but they have had difficulty scoring goals and scoring 2 or 3 goals tonight will not get the job done versus the Leafs that have scored 4 goals plus in every of their 9 wins during the hot streak. I like the Leafs to take care of business in 60 minutes tonight.

Calgary Flames -.5 +121 (regulation)

The Flames look to extend their win streak to 6 games when they host the Kraken tonight. Calgary management must be at a cross roads here with the team playing so well. The Flames sit just 7 points out of a playoff spot with 2 games in hand on the Preds, if they continue to win they could sit just 3 points out with the same amount of games played, but they also have to decide if they want to continue being sellers as the trade deadline looms. With that being said the Flames continue to score at will, averaging over 4 goals a game during this win streak and don’t believe the Kraken will be able to match their offensive production. I like the Flames to make in 6 straight wins and win it in 60 minutes.
