The Canes are in Zona to face the Coyotes in the only game on the NHL schedule tonight. The Yotes are in their worst stretch of the season having lost 7 straight. Nothing is going right at the moment, they score 3 goals in a game and their goalies give up 5 or 6, then their goalies play well and give up on 2 to 3 goals and their offense can only muster 1 or 2 goals for. To make things even worse for the Yotes is that #1 netminder C. Ingram in dealing with an injury that will keep him out for about the next week or so. That means K. Vejmelka takes the lead role, he hasn't done very well this season when called upon with a 3.36 GAA and sub .900 save percentage. I like the Canes to score often tonight cover the puck line and this game to go over the total.

Villanova Wildcats -10 -108

The Wildcats visit the Georgetown Hoyas in an Big East matchup tonight. To say the Hoyas are struggling in an understatement as they've lost 9 straight and have not looked good in many of them. That isn't surprising when you rank 312th in Kenpom's defensive efficiency rating. What is even more bizarre for the Hoyas is that they have actually had better showings on the road then on their home court. During this losing streak, 5 have come on the road by an average margin of approximately 13 points while their 4 home losses have been by an average of almost 22 points. The Wildcats are not as strong as they have been in the past but the Hoyas are that bad that they should be able to cover this number on the road.
