The Cubs welcome the Cards to Chicago for a 4 game weekend series, tonight is will be S. Gray versus S. Imanaga on the mound. Gray was in a funk in July as he was not very good over 4 starts with a 6.75 ERA, he allowed 5 ER in 3 of those 4 starts. His best start was versus the Cubs a game which he and the Cards lost 5-1. After a rough (5.67 ERA) month of June, Imanaga rebounded nicely in July as he posted a 2.55 ERA winning 3 of his 4 starts beating 3 quality offensive teams in the O's, Royals & DBacks. Imanaga has one start under his belt versus the Cards this season and it was a beauty as he went 7 IP allowing only 1 run while striking out 6. I like him to outperform a struggling S. Gray on the mound and lead the Cubs to victory.   

LA Angels -1.5 +162 & Colorado Rockies/LA Angels U8.5 +110

Tonight is the rubber match of this three game series between the Rockies and Angels, it will be R. Feltner on the mound versus C. Fulmer. After a high scoring G1 of this series, a 10-7 final, we got a low scoring game last night 2-1. I expect more of the same tonight as both starters have actually been pitching well of late. Feltner was very effective in July as he had a 2.51 ERA over 5 starts only allowing over 2 ER in a start once, unfortunately he was not able to record a victory because of the fact that the Rockies are offensively inept. The Rocks scored a total of 9 runs over Feltner's 5 starts losing 3 of them by multiple runs and 4 of them going under the posted total. For the Angels, Fulmer was added to the rotation at the beginning of July and has been more than serviceable in 4 starts, with a 3.99 ERA. I expect him to hold down the Rockies offense and put the Angels in a position to win this game by multiple runs while staying under the total.
