The Sharp Report for August 5, 2022

This article will be updated throughout the day as I get updates from the sportsbook that I have access to. 

Each section will be explained below and the time will be added each time the Sharp Report is updated. You can use this information to make your own picks or tail the hot sections. Historically, Sharp bets, Whale plays, Model plays, and square have done very well. Keep in mind that this information comes from a sharp / market maker sportsbook and the squares (public) playing there are more experienced than regular joe's betting on retail books therefore you can find success in tailing the public.

Last night was weird. Tier1 finishes at 3-3-2. Could have easily been 5-2-2 if the game in PHI resumed and if BOS didn't allow 4 freaking runs in the 7th.

Sharp bet smashes 4-1 with a huge dog win with COL.

The Whale makes half a unit going 2-1 and the rest of the sections lost a little or broke even!

The whale is one of the biggest bettors at the sportsbook. He's a sharp bettor with high betting limits and is highly respected.

This section covers all the highest EV plays straight from my NHL, NBA, MLB models

Sportsbook liabilities:

Updated around 4 pm, in this section, you will find the top plays that the book will be cheering for since they took large sums of money on the opposite teams. I know the house always wins however this info comes from a sharp book and these plays have been the most consistent when they are faded

Square top positions:

It is a strategy to bet against the public however as mentioned above, these regular joes are pretty good. This section will find picks that the public is heavy on. This section is updated around 4 pm also, the time to be able to gather enough data throughout the course of the day.
