Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 +142
The Brewers took G1 of this series in a slugfest 8-4 last night, tonight should be the opposite as we have C. Burnes facing A. Wainwright. Wainwright dominates when pitching at home but has had issues when pitching versus the Brewers this season. Burnes has just totally dominated the Cards whether it’s at home or on the road, he’s given up 1 earned run over 21 innings while striking out 27. For a pitcher that has dominated a lineup this well the run line is a solid play in my opinion.
Minnesota Twins -1.5 +107
The Twins almost threw a combined no hitter versus the Royals last night before giving up a hit and eventually 3 runs in the 9th in a 6-3 victory. Tonight the Royals send veteran Z. Greinke to the mound to face another veteran in S. Gray. We backed Greinke at home over the weekend versus the Guardians and it paid off but tonight he’s on the road and we flip the switch and bet against him. His road ERA is 6.33 and the Royals have lost over 70% of his road starts. Gray is making his 3rd start versus the Royals, in the previous 2 he’s given up 1 earned run over 12 innings both which resulted in multi run victories for the Twins. Tonight they make it 3 for 3.
Texas Rangers -1.5 +132
The Rangers rallied from a 7-2 deficit last night to beat the A’s 8-7, tonight they Send D. Dunning to face J. Sears on the mound. Even though Dunning hasn’t been great this season, he’s been more than serviceable when pitching at home as his ERA is 3.35. The A’s pitching staff just hasn’t been getting it done lately, they’ve lost 5 of 6 while allowing on average over 9 runs a game. Dunning should be keep the A’s lineup in check enough for the Rangers to win this game by multiple runs.
