Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +923

Colorado Avalanche -.5 +120 (regulation)

The Avs host the Red Wings tonight, the Avs are off a 5-0 win over the Blackhawks while the Red Wings haven't looked good losing 2 straight after having run off 6 straight wins.  One has to ask if A. Lyon is showing cracks in the armor after such a strong showing in the first half of the the season, over his last 10 starts, he's given up 3 goals or more in 8 of them. That is not a recipe for success versus the Avs who lead the NHL is goals scored with 232. The Avs will counter with A. Georgiev as he got the night off versus the Blackhawks on Monday, Georgiev hasn't been super dominant this season, but that isn't necessary when your team is averaging over 3.5 goals per game on the season. I like the Avs in regulation tonight.

Buffalo Sabres +160

The Sabres in Toronto to face the Leafs, the Leafs look to rebound after having their asses served to them by the Bruins on Monday 4-1. The problem for the Leafs is that they have struggled mightily versus the Sabres of late. The Sabres have won 7 of the last 10 meetings while they were dogs in every one of those wins. The Leafs have a history of playing down to the level of their competition and that has been a major issue for them. The Leafs also aren't playing that well on home ice with a 17-12-2 record while the Sabres have been very serviceable on the road this season at 15-12-2. I think the Sabres can surprise the Leafs as history have shown us.

Chicago Bulls -163

The Bulls are in Utah to face the Jazz tonight, the Jazz are not in a good place right now having lost 8 of their last 10 games and are in a free fall and have fallen out of the playoff picture now sitting 5 games behind the Warriors for the final play in spot. The Bulls for their part have played well of late with a 5-5 record over their last 10 and have beaten some quality teams in the Kings, Pels & Cavs. The Jazz will be missing starters L. Markkanen and K. George tonight and that really limits their chances for success. The Jazz's only two wins in their last 10 games have come versus league bottom feeders Spurs and Wizards while getting blown out by an average 13 points in their 8 losses. I like the Bulls here to win this game straight up.
