The Devils host the Pens tonight, which will be a game between 2 teams that have vastly underperformed this season and are very likely to miss the playoffs.  The Devils do have in their favor tonight the fact that they have dominated the Pens for quite some time now, the Pens have not beat the Devils in over two years, the last win for the Pens was in February of '22. The Pens have also not been playing well of late either losing 7 of their last 10 games. The Devils picked up J. Allen at the trade deadline and he's played very well in 2 starts allowing only 4 goals and has provided the Devils with a veteran presence in the crease. The Devils are the better side here and with more stability in goal with Allen will back them to continue their dominance over the Pens. 

Vancouver Canucks -.5 -122 (regulation)

The Sabres are in Vancouver to face the Canucks, the Canucks have not been able to win a game since they lost #1 goalie T. Demko to injury having lost 2 straight. The Blew a 3-0 lead to the Avs losing 4-3 in OT and their offensive disappeared in a 2-1 loss to the Caps. Tonight they catch the Sabres who will be playing on a B2B and 3rd game in 4 nights and probably starting backup goalie D. Levi, who has a GAA well above 3.00. The Canucks will be countering with C. DeSmith in goal and even though the Canucks haven't won since the Demko injury, DeSmith cannot be blamed as he's played well. I like the Canucks to get back on the winning track in regulation tonight.   

Carolina Hurricanes -.5 +106 (regulation)

The Canes are in Long Island to faces the Islanders tonight, after going on a 6 game win streak and looking great, the Isles have fallen flat on their face now having lost 4 straight. They been totally outplayed by their opponents being outscored by a 15-5 margin. The Canes have won 8 of their last 10 games and their two losses were versus solid teams on the Rangers and Jets, they're also one of the best road teams in the league at 20-11-2. There is no doubting the Canes are the better team in all measurable aspects and will take this game in regulation.
