Val’s Big Payday Parlay January 23rd 2023

Val

Another 2-1 night missing the parlay by the Jets/Flyers total. It can be a frustrating grind missing this many parlays by a game, but that it the nature of the beast sometimes. Tonight we have a solid parlay that pays almost 6.5 times. Let get it.

Val’s Big Payday Parlay, pays +648

Straight up Overall Record for the Big Payday Plays 505-705, -23.53 units

New York Rangers -130

The Panthers are at MSG to face the Rangers tonight. The Panthers are playing well winning 4 of their last 5 games and the last 2 were with their third string goalie A. Lyon. The Panthers haven’t had much success lately winning games at MSG losing 4 of their last 5 games there. As Anthony mentioned in his write up on Discord the Panthers are most likely going to be without S. Bennett & A. Ekblad which makes winning this game on the road that more difficult. The Panthers are a sub .500 on the road and can’t see them beating a team like the Rangers with their third string goalie as regression in his play is expected.

Dallas Stars -.5 -113 (regulation)

The Stars host the Sabres tonight in Dallas; both teams come into this game having won two straight. When the Sabres win games it is usually done by outscoring their opponents as the combination of their goalies (Anderson, Luukkonen & Comrie) have been far from stellar this season. That will probably be a very difficult task tonight as they face one of the best goalies in the league in J. Oettinger. The Stars are off two straight shutouts having not surrendered a goal versus the Coyotes and Kings and think they can put the clamps on the Sabres offense. The Sabres have also lost 8 of the last 9 meetings in the Dallas and this has the makings of a nice Stars victory.

Memphis Grizzlies/Sacramento Kings U246.5 -106

The Grizz are in Sactown to face the Kings tonight. Both teams will be playing their fourth game in six nights and fatigue could play a factor here. The Grizz will also be on a B2B and are 3-3 O/U in this sport with an average score of 223. In a game with a total this high, a lot more things need to go right than wrong for the over to come in, even if 61 points per quarter were scored the under would still come in. If either team has one bad shooting quarter the under is almost a certainty. This is the fourth meeting between these two teams this season and no game total surpassed 235, I will back the under here.
