Pittsburgh Penguins/Minnesota Wild U6 -106

The Pens are in Minny to face the Wild and former longtime Penguins goalie MA Fleury. Both teams won their first game out of the All Star break in strong defense fashion as the Pens shut out the Jets 3-0 while the Wild beat the Blackhawks 2-1. The Penguins have struggled on the offensive end while being solid defensively lately which has resulted in 8 unders over their last 10 games. The same can be said for the Wild as their offensive hasn't been there scoring a combined 6 goals over their last 3 games all of which have stayed under the total. With T. Jarry playing well and my expectation of Fleury playing well versus his former team I like the under in this game tonight.

Houston Rockets +104

The Rockets are in Toronto to play a new look Raptors after a couple of deadlines deals yesterday. The Rockets continue their road trip while the Raps are returning from a 6 game road trip in which they only went 2-4. The Raps will be at a disadvantage especially off the bench tonight with newly acquired players not being available play and/or not being up to speed on their playbook in such a short period of time with the team. Yes the Rockets have not been great on the road this season but this is the type of game they must win considering all the changes the Raps have been through in the last week or so. I like the underdog Rockets here.

NO Pelicans -2.5 -104

The Pels are in LA to face the Lakers tonight, the Pels are looking for a 5th straight tonight versus a Lakers team that will be on a B2B. Both Lebron and AD played over 35 mins each last night and I can easily see the Lakers deciding to sit one of two tonight for rest reasons meaning this line may actually move in our favor. The Lakers have been on a B2B 8 times this season and 6 times either Lebron or AD has missed the back leg and the Lakers have lost all 6 times. If the Lakers are missing a combo of either one of those two stars and D. Russell, the Lakers will be in trouble on the offensive end tonight. Considering the Pelicans have so many weapons in Williamson, Ingram and McCollum I like them to cover this number on the road.
