Montreal Canadiens -104

The Habs look to rebound from their loss yesterday afternoon to the Stars when they host the Blues this afternoon. Entering the 3rd period down 3-2 the Habs were the better team in the last 20 minutes and had plenty of quality scoring opportunities but just couldn't beat J. Oettinger to tie it up. Today they play a much lesser opponent in the Blues and believe if they play like they did yesterday they will burry those chances versus J. Binnington. Surprisingly enough, as good as they Blues have been in the past prior to this year, beating the Habs has not been an easy task, the Habs have won 6 of the last 10 meetings and the Habs have not lost to the Blues in Montreal since 2017. I like the home team here.

Vancouver Canucks -1.5 +150

The Canucks are in DC to face the Caps this afternoon, both sides are on a B2B with different results, the Canucks blew a 3-1 lead heading into the 3rd period before losing 4-3 in OT, while the Caps used another strong performance from C. Lindgren to shut out the Bruins 3-0. The Canucks are definitely going with T. Demko as C. DeSmith got the start yesterday and the Caps will most likely being going with D. Kuemper and there lies the huge advantage for the Canucks. Kuemper has been sieve this season giving up goals with regularity, over his last 10 starts dating back to late December he's given up 3+ goals in 8 of them. That isn't a recipe for success, especially versus one of the best teams in the NHL that has lost 2 straight. I like the Canucks by multiple goals this afternoon.

Sacramento Kings +144

The OKC Thunder host the Kings this afternoon in one of 2 NBA games on schedule for Super Bowl Sunday. The Thunder have not looked good defensively over their last 2 games giving up 124 points to the Jazz and getting absolutely torched by the Mavs for 146 yesterday. The Thunder have had issues defending points in the point as proof last night being outscored 66-34 by the Mavs, considering that is where D. Sabonis and D. Fox do most of their damage the Thunder could be in for another long game. The Kings are rested having the day off yesterday and with the Thunder being on a B2B and playing poorly defensively, I will back the Kings to get a road win as a dog.
