Minnesota Twins -1.5 +148 & Minnesota/Detroit O7 -110

The Twins and Tigers begin a weekend series in Minnesota tonight, the Tigers send J. Flaherty to the mound while the Twins counter with J. Ryan. Flaherty will be making his 2nd start in a week versus the Twins, he pitched versus them 5 days ago in Detroit giving up 3 ER in 6 1/3 IP in a 4-3 win. Flaherty has has dealt with health problems over the last couple of seasons which has lead to issues with consistency, proof is in his 2nd start of the season versus the A's where he gave up 6 ER in 6 IP as he couldn't get the ball by an average lineup. Ryan for the Twins has been their best starter to start the season not giving up more then 3 ER in any one of his 3 starts with the Twins winning 2 by multiple runs. I like Ryan to outpitch Flaherty here and expect Flaherty to run into issues on the mound, I like the Twins on the run line and over the total.

SD Padres -102

The Padres host the Blue Jays for a weekend series, the Jays begin a road trip that will see them play the Royals for 4 games after this. Cuban Y. Rodriguez will be make his MLB debut tonight and it will be fun to see how he adjust to MLB hitters. The Jays are not doing so well on the offensive end as I personally believe they have plenty of holes in their batting order, outside of veteran J. Turner no other starter is hitting over .225 on the season. If they can't score runs over the weekend it will be a long one for them as the Padres have plenty of weapons in Machado, Tatis and company. I expect Rodriguez to have jitters here and the Padres to take advantage of it and win this game,
