The Angels and Red Sox play the finale of their 3 game series this afternoon, the Angels won the opener Friday night 7-0 and the Red Sox returned the favor yesterday with a 7-2 win. The Angels send T. Anderson to the mound and the Red Sox counter with B. Bello, Anderson has yet to give up an ER over 14 IP this season shutting out both the Rays and Marlins through 7 innings. Bello will be making his 4th start of the season, he bounced back nicely in his last start versus the Orioles giving up only 1 ER over 5 IP plus, his prior start versus the A's didn't go well giving up 4 ER in 5 IP. The Red Sox are missing some pieces in their lineup with T. Story and R. Devers injured. With the way Anderson is pitching I like the Angels here on the road as a dog.   

Tampa Rays -102 & SF Giants/Tampa Rays O8 -115

The Giants and Rays play the rubber game of their 3 games series this afternoon when B. Snell faces S. Armstrong on the mound. Snell will make making only his 2nd start of the season after signing just days before the season started, meaning he played no spring training games. You can tell he wasn't up to speed in his first start of the season versus the Nats as he gave up 3 ER in 3 IP and was on a pitch count. Expect him to be on another pitch count today, as he still tries to shake off the rust from the offseason. The Rays look to bounce back from yesterdays embarrassing 11-2 loss to the Giants and will use a bullpen game today. I like the Rays to get to Snell often today as he tries to get himself back into season shape.
