Val's ATP Miami Open Play Round 1 Day2

We got the inconsistent Fils yesterday botching the over 2.5 sets play.

Two Spaniards meet in round 1 of the Miami Open tonight when 18 year old M. Landaluce faces J. Munar. Landaluce has plenty of experience on the Challenger Tour and now makes his first appearance at a main draw at a Masters 1000. He has plenty of talent and today takes on a player in Manur that really struggles for success on hard court. His struggles are so bad on hard court, here are his numbers, he's been on the ATP tour since 2014 and only has a 63-60 record on the surface and has had a losing record every year on hard court since 2019, except for 2022 when he was 14-10 overall. We was non competitive at Indian Wells last week losing to another young talent in A. Michelsen 6-2 6-3 in the 1st round. I do believe that Landaluce has a chance to win this match straight up, however, being so young and inexperienced on the main draw I will back him to win a set tonight.
