TNF: Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals
Anthony P
The Botton line article will lead us in making the right call on a high-profile game. I will cover TNF, SNF, and MNF. I will also cover big baseball games, the NBA, and the NHL. Tonight we are covering the TNF showdown between the Dolphins and Bengals
The Dolphins beat my Bills in a game where they got out-gained 497-212. It was a heartbreaker. Now a tired Dolphins defense on a short week is on the road facing the Bengals potentially without Tua. Tua is not the only main concern here. Miami's defense played a physically draining game in the Florida heat and was on the field for over 40 minutes. IMO, this is a terrible spot for the Dolphins.
Cincinnati's OL line is just brutal. They already gave up 15 sacks. Last year they gave up 55 however the defense has shown great improvement last 6 quarters and hasn't allowed a TD in the last 20 drives. Oh and a miracle here, Burrow hasn't allowed a turnover in 2 straight games. The Bengals shouldn't have an issue protecting Burrow versus the Dolphins sitting 26th in sack rate (4.69%) this season. The bottom line: Dolphins are tired, playing on a short week, Tua is probable and not 100%, they are on the road and they got lucky beating my Bills....they are OVERRATED! As mentioned, this is a terrible spot for them and the Bengals are trending up. Cincinnati opened at -1.5 and moved through key number 3. The market is not high on Miami which solidifies my " THEY ARE OVERRATED" comment. Look for the Bengals to put Miami back in its place in primetime and honestly, I dont think Dolphin will mind. Just take a look at their schedule! They are playing the Jets, Steelers, Lions, and Bears in their next 5 games.
Lay the points on Burrow and the Bengals.
