New Orleans Saints +130
The Bucs visit the Bayou to face the Saints this afternoon. The Saints are a team that has given T. Brady a lot of trouble since he joined the Bucs due to their pass rush. Today Brady will have to try and get it done on the road missing WR. C. Godwin and M. Evans whom isn’t 100% healthy. The Saints have won 3 of the last 4 meetings in New Orleans and I expect the result to be the same today, a Saints upset victory over T. Brady and the Bucs.
Miami Dolphins +155
The Dolphins visit the Ravens this afternoon and look the upset the Ravens. Both teams won their Week 1 games and the Dolphins beat the Patriots at home while the Ravens embarrassed the Jets on the road. With L. Jackson not having signed a long term contract with the Ravens there are grumblings that he won’t be running the ball like he has in previous years to avoid a possible injury. If that is the case, then he will not be effective of a QB and his running game is what makes him so dangerous. The Dolphins have a good defense and made upgrades at WR and RB during the offseason that put them in a prime position to win games like this on the road.
Seattle Mariners +116
The Mariners try to win the first game of this 4 game series this afternoon versus the Angels. S. Ohtani pitched a gem as the Angels took it 2-1. This afternoon it’s a battle of lefties as M. Gonzales faces R. Detmers; Gonzales will be making his 3rd start versus Angels pitching well in his previous 2. Detmers has been roughed up in 3 of his last 4 starts giving up a minimum of 4 earned runs and not pitching past the 5th inning. I like the Mariners to get back on the winning track this afternoon versus Detmers and the Angels.
