The Marlins and Reds continue their series this afternoon when E. Cabrera faces A. Abbott on the mound, the Reds took the opener last night in a high scoring affair that finished 7-4. We should see another high scoring game today as Cabrera was not pitching well before going on the IL at the end of May and even in his first start coming off the IL versus the White Sox either last week. His ERA sits at 6.84 on the season and has only pitched past the 5th inning once and it was in his first start of the season. Five of his six starts this season have gone over the total. Abbott is pitching much better than Cabrera, and the Reds have won 6 of his last 7 starts with 4 of those wins being by multiple runs. I like the Reds to continue that trend versus the Marlins and Cabrera this afternoon. 

Texas Rangers/Houston Astros O8 -110

The Rangers look to rebound from their 6-3 loss to the Astros this afternoon when they send N. Eovaldi to the mound to face S. Arrighetti. Eovaldi's splits are glaring this season as he's pitched very well at home (1.99 ERA) but things are very different on the road where his ERA jumps to 5.40. He's pitched once on the road versus the Astros this season and it did not go well as he allowed 5 runs in 6 IP as the Rangers lost 8-5. Arrighetti hasn't pitched well on the road or at home as his ERA is 5.96 and has rarely been able to make it past 5 IP in a start. I like the over here at neither starter has excelled in this type of spot this season.
