I posted a really bad pick in L. Djere last night as he really didn't play well at all versus D. Lajovic, I watched the whole match and I cannot say that Lajovic played well, it was more about how badly Djere played. Tonight we move to the WTA for a play and look to get back on the winning track with our tennis plays.

Italy's C. Giorgi faces American S. Stephens in the quarterfinals of the Mérida Open in Mexico. Giorgi has won both her matches in straight sets so far while Stephens had a easy first round match but struggled through her second match versus Russian V. Gracheva and needed three sets to claim victory. This is another situation of an odd line to me, Stephens in the #2 ranked player in this tournament but is a sizable underdog versus Giorgi ranked #68 on tour. These two have played each other five times in the past with Giorgi taking 3 of the 4 matches on hard court, so with that trend and the fact that she's the favorite in this match considering the player rankings, I will go with Giorgi as the play.
