I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR MAY 24, 2023

Must we rehash last night's face-off between the Golden Knights and Stars? A quick scan of the highlights should do the trick!

According to the model, this game stands at a balanced equilibrium, in harmony with the market makers' lines. The Panthers have been nothing short of outstanding in this series. With Bob acting as an impenetrable barrier, a fortified defense, and an offense that strikes gold on the few chances it receives, it's no wonder they've played eight consecutive games under the total since the Leafs series, never conceding more than two goals per game. This Panthers v2.0 version is far from that regular season team that allowed the 28th most GA/G.

The Canes, recognized for their defensive prowess, have only given up an average of 2.30 goals in their last 10 games. The goaltending stats for both Andersen and Bobrovsky in their previous 10 games are off the charts - a save percentage of .945 for Bobrovsky and .936 for Andersen.

The trend of the total falling under 5.5 goals has held true in 6 of their last 7 games, and judging by the current form of both goalies and defensive play, this pattern is likely to hold strong tonight.

Thus, my bet is geared towards the game staying under 5.5 goals.
